Setting Up

To use a Safe Notes Mail you must enable Safe Mail and enter your password. Before first use, choose very proper this password and remember it (or save to safe notes document). You can use identical password as your main SafeNotes password.

You can enable option for automatically runing Safe Mail.

If enabled then after program running you enter first the Safe mail password.

And next the Safe Notes standard password if this is not the same.

If Safe Notes Mail is enabled and you have used a perfect password then you can create your own POST OFFICE. All data in this POST OFFICE is protected by this Mail password.

Fill out name, email and click on Create button...

Info: To create a postman with Safe/VerySafe security you must enable Advanced user mode, use "training registration" for this, if you do not have your own license.

You can copy Postman to clipboard and send to a friend or publish on your website.

You can publish your magical postman on the web, send it to all your friends and communication partners. Using this postman everyone can send secure message to you.

You can first make an encrypted message into clipboard and next add your magical postman. Then the message and postman can be easy send in one mail.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Certificate and Graphical postman

Public information stored in the Safe Notes Postman can be verified with certificate. When you have a postman with certified identity then everyone are sure, that it is your postman. Certified Postman has also higher security and some type can be stored in a picture for comfortable importing (drag&drop) from web or emails from your comunication partners.

Import foreign magical postman

Postman can be stored in a plain text or in a picture. Import is very easy, copy and paste this plain text or open picture that includes a postman. You can use drag and drop.

If a message contains Postman then can be imported automatically.

Read incomming message
Simple copy encrypted message from mailclient and paste in the Safe Notes. Here is an example:

Sending a message
Select text in the Safe Notes editor. Use popup menu "Safe Mail - Copy...." or use a shorticon. Select a recipient postman. Click to button "Encrypt message to clipboard". Paste clipboard to mail and send it to recipient.

For the first time, you can add your postman to this message - open Post Office and click to button "Copy Postman to clipboard".

# Advanced setings (POST OFFICE)

TIP:
SafeNotes can also automatically use math-functions with the OpenSSL library. This is very useful when keys with a very big size are generated (Very/Ultra Safe Security) because prime number tests are very quickly. You only need to download and copy this crypto-library from third parties.

Example of an OpenSSL installation:

Download OpenSSL Library and extract libeay32.dll to the "SafeData\Settings\Bin\" directory.
For simplicity, you can use drag and drop for copying. If SafeNotes detects a known library when opening a file, the library is automatically installed.

Is it too complicated?

To simplify this task, there is a small application that can easily copy the necessary DLL-library to your Safe Notes installation. Just download and run it.
